During my years as a middle school science teacher, I spent a lot of time looking around for good science materials for my classroom. Unhappy with what I found, I began to create my own resources for my 7th graders. Once I became a parent, I searched for supplemental summer workbooks and found some ~okay~ books, but nothing like what I hoped for or envisioned. Which now brings me to this blog post telling you about my science workbook.
Are you a homeschooling family whose child finds science challenging? Are you looking for a high quality homeschool science curriculum that will help your child actually learn and retain the content? Are you looking for a middle grade science workbook that isn’t dry and unoriginal? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then the science workbook I created was designed with families like you in mind.
The Changes in States of Matter Physical Science Workbook is a fun, easy-to-understand, and unique homeschool science resource ideal for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. It contains the necessary background information about solids liquids, and gases needed to understand the changes in states of matter (also called phase changes). With text that is relatable and straightforward, your student will learn about this important physical science topic. Condensation, deposition, freezing, melting, sublimation, and vaporization are all covered in detail. Particle movement and the causes of the changes in states of matter are emphasized.
